Mini Skirts, Turtlenecks and Wrapround Dresses Sum Up 70s Fashion

Women in the 1970's were faced with some of the most unusual fashion choices one can imagine.

There had been some innovations in fabric that seemed to have the potential to change fashion forever.

Polyester was touted as a miracle fabric, that was easy care, held its shape and could be any possible color, but no one mentioned its ability to be a wearable sauna.

The fabric that was to revolutionize the 70s fashion world, ended up being easy care and not very comfortable.

Partridge Family – The First Season 1970

The Partridge Family stands out as a classic 70s TV show with it's great premise, entertaining and funny story lines. It is a very wholesome show and the music is sometime, not half bad. The family certainly have that 70s pop sound.

the first episode appeared on television in September of 1970. Rick Springfield was slated to replace an exhausted David Cassidy as Keith Partridge had the show continued after the 4th season. David Cassidy was also the only memeber of the cast to actually performa and play instruments live. The show was ultimately cancelled in 1974.

Best Wishes to Farrah Fawcett – A Timeless 70s Icon

When a well known and much loved celebrity experiences tragedy, it often feels like something that's happening to a member of our own family or a close friend.

Like many people my age, I grew up watching Classic 70s Television Shows like Charlies Angels. And, yes, I did, in fact, have the classic Farrah Fawcett poster on my wall for many years.

While respecting their privacy is very important, I also think that the public needs the opportunity to share a little our love with them and to wish them only the best.
