It's sad news to share today. Following 3 year battle with cancer Farrah Fawcett died at 62 06/25/2009. This just two days after beloved Ed McMahon passed away. Farrah Fawcett died today at 62, just shy of six weeks since the airing of "Farrah's Story," the documentary that detailed her courageous battle against cancer.

Farrah Fawcett, who soared to fame as a national sex symbol in the late 1970s on television's campy "Charlie's Angels" and in a swimsuit poster that showcased her feathery mane and made her a generation's favorite pinup, died today. She was 62.

Fawcett, whose celebrity overshadowed her ability as a serious actress, was diagnosed with a rare anal cancer in 2006. She died at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, said Paul Bloch, her publicist.

Farrah Fawcett's death was announced just hours before the end of voting to determine the nominees for this year's Emmy Awards. Television's highest honor eluded this small-screen icon who earned three acting Emmy nominations during her three-decade-plus career.

When a well known and much loved celebrity experiences tragedy, it often feels like something that's happening to a member of our own family or a close friend.

Like many people my age, I grew up watching Classic 70s Television Shows like Charlies Angels. And, yes, I did, in fact, have the classic Farrah Fawcett poster on my wall for many years.

While respecting their privacy is very important, I also think that the public needs the opportunity to share a little our love with them and to wish them only the best.

So I would like to say thank you to Farrah Fawcett for all her wonderful modeling work, acting and humanitarian efforts, and just for being such a spectacular human being.

Please enjoy all the full episodes of Charlies Angels courtesy of Hulu.Com. this show has a great premise and includes appearances by many actors who went on to great success in movies, television and more.

Beautiful, intelligent and ultra-sophisticated, "Charlies Angels" are everything a man could dream of...and way more than they could ever handle! Receiving their orders via speaker phone from their never seen boss, Charlie, the Angels employ their incomparable sleuthing and combat skills, as well as their lethal feminine charm, to crack even the most seemingly insurmountable of cases. Detective work never looked this good!

Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith star as Jill, Sabrina and Kelly, beautiful ex-policewomen, who are hired as private investigators by a mysterious Dyer known as Charlie.
